Dato’ Dr Zaiton Osman

Advisor

​

Dato’ Dr Zaiton who has been a prominent Knowledge Management  Keynote Speaker and advisor in the cultivation of Communities of Practice (CoPs), was the  Director in the Institutional Advancement Centre, University of Malaya. Dato Zaiton was also the former Chief Librarian of University of Malaya (1993-2002), Consultant Librarian of University of Malaya (2002-2004), Library Consultant of Open University Malaysia (2001-2006), Principal Consultant in Paradigm Systems Berhad (2005-2010) and currently KM Advisor to Knowledge Connections.

​

She has been one of the pillars in the Malaysian Information Management community for many decades and has contributed significantly to the development of the library profession. She is also a fervent advocate of knowledge acquisition and continues to champion the practice of knowledge management through her involvement in the knowledge enrichment programs for libraries.

Roznita Othman

Roznita is a Registered Quantity Surveyor, with 35 years of work experience in the Public Works of Department Malaysia. She heads the Enterprise Content and Knowledge Management Unit in the Department, where she has successfully implemented several KM initiatives. She holds a Diploma and Degree in Quantity Surveying, a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science, a Master degree in IT Management, and a Professional Diploma in Internet Business and Social Media Strategies. She is a Certified Project Manager, Certified Project Management Assessor and Certified Knowledge Manager.

Geeta Albert

Solutions Consultant  for Knowledge Sharing Initiatives​

Geeta’s specialization, over the last 30 years, has been in product conceptualization, systems and database design for Information Management projects. In the last 9 years, she has turned her attention to Knowledge Management, and her passion towards KM has made her into focusing in cultivating knowledge sharing and learning in organizations in the Public Works Department (JKR), the Academia and Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA). 

​

Geeta had conceptualized KMaya (www.kmaya.com.my), an online social learning environment for the Information Management Industry.  With her accumulated knowledge in this arena, Geeta has been presenting her research in conferences, engaged by multiple agencies as a KM consultant. Her focus is in cultivating knowledge sharing via communities of practice to enhance the learning agenda in their respective environments.

Geeta, who is currently undergoing her PhD in Knowledge Management, has an MBA from the University of Strathclyde, UK. She was a former Business Development Director of Paradigm Systems Berhad and the founder of Knowledge Connections.

Nor Takrim Ibrahim

KM Content Schema

Nor Takrim who is currently undergoing her Masters in Knowledge Management, has a Degree in Library Management from Universiti Teknologi MARA. She is one of the core members in building KMaya the online communities of practice for the library market. 

​

Nor Takrim is a librarian by profession and is aptly familiar with topics and content that are related to the Information Management community. Being a core member in facilitating the cop workshops, Takrim’s engaging personality has been crucial in ensuring the success in cultivating a knowledge sharing environment. Her skills and experience in capturing, organizing and analysing information, drawn from her training from her library management background, gives significant strength to the successful reifying of knowledge in KMaya – a key strategic component in the Knowledge Management Technological Framework.

Nor Takrim will be responsible for  facilitating the Domain Management workshops and ensuring the project is managed in the stipulated time frame.

Mohd Fauzi Aminuddin

KM Portal Management

​

Mohd Fauzi’s specialization is in web designing and has been responsible for the portal design and framework for more than 50 organisations over the last ten (10) years. His skills and experience has led him to implementing the knowledge portal for MIDA, KMAYA and IIUM and facilitating workshops in this area. 

​

Fauzi is now the site designer of KMaya and is responsible for all technical aspects of the site.   Being KMaya’s Site Manager, he is responsible to monitor the site’s day-to-day activities and attends to members needs when it comes to usage of the portal.

Khairil Hizar Md Khuzaimah

He first started his career as a quantity surveyor with a Grade 7 construction company before joining Public Works Department of Malaysia in 1999. With a career span of more than 18 years, he has been involved in a variety of projects ranging from developing the department’s online construction cost database and prediction model to the nation’s construction electronic tendering system. Currently, he is attached to the department’s Enterprise Content and Knowledge Management Unit. He is a graduate member of Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (BQSM) and the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM).

Nor Parzila Abdul Ghaffar

Nor Parzila graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in civil engineering. She has been working with Public Works Department for 8 years with one year experince in knowledge management

Goh Keng Ching

KM Audit

​

Goh Keng Ching or KC as she is more commonly known in the industry is a certified financial analyst, having obtained her CFA in 2003. She started her career with the stock exchange where she undertook and prepared studies on stock market and financial related fields. She then moved on to join an international bank where her role was to formulate strategies and provide business recommendations through data mining and business intelligence tools, as well as being jointly accountable for delivering the bottom line of the company.  

​

KC is conversant in various fields of data, information and knowledge, from application tools and analytics to formulating strategic decision. She has applied various data science techniques to provide insights into business, improve knowledge of customers and thus, enhance organisational effectiveness and improve cost efficiency.

​

KC believes that to get the best results, we should look beyond the obvious and apply creative thinking in our analysis and recommendations. KC enjoys the opportunity to work with talented, creative people who are passionate about what they do and are always looking to improve.
